Individual Transformation

Jesus was able to walk in perfect love, power and purpose because there was no darkness in Him and the evil one had no place in Him. The purpose of our ministry is to form Christ in each person (Gal 4:19) so that we may present every person perfect in Christ (Col 1:29). This is accomplished through:

•   Teaching and preaching from the Scriptures in the ways of the Lord and righteousness (1 Tim 3:16-17).

•   Learning to walk by faith in the Spirit of Christ (2 Cor 5:7, Gal 5:16).

•   Removing obstacles to intimacy with the Lord and promoting growth in Christ-like character (Gal 5:22-25).

•   Inner healing, prophetic counsel and deliverance from emotional wounds, unforgiveness, bitterness, falsehoods and unclean spirits.

•  Physical Healing (Isaiah 53: 4-5)

Missions and Revival

We are born into the kingdom of God, yet we live in the kingdom of this world. This is because the Lord is sending us to this world as ambassadors of the King, Jesus Christ, to:

•   Proclaim the reality of His wonderful, perfect, amazing kingdom.

•   Demonstrate the power of His kingdom over the power of the evil one’s kingdom.

•   Proclaim the good news that Jesus Christ is the King, is the source of eternal life and is the provision and way into this kingdom.

Jesus announced His earthly ministry by quoting Isaiah 61:1-2. We believe that the Church, as His body, is now fulfilling the earthly ministry that He began. He commissioned us to go into all the world and do the same things He did and even greater things. Our vision is to participate with Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, in this worldwide mission.

Our first goal is to be this shining light to Tolland County and the surrounding communities. We believe that we have been called to be a godly influence in this region, to be a regional equipping center, and to strengthen, serve and bless other churches. We believe that we will be a source of wisdom, understanding and counsel to those in government, education, business and the media. And we will get into the daily life of our community in practical acts of love and compassion. Our vision is to see our entire community transformed by the power of the kingdom of God.

Second, we believe that we are strategically placed by the Lord to participate in a relational network of churches collectively called to usher in a kingdom revolution to New England. A major part of our vision is to participate in what we believe will be a major move of the Holy Spirit in revival and awakening in Connecticut and New England.

Third, we will support and participate in world wide kingdom missions. Jesus has entire nations as His inheritance. We believe that every nation has a powerful destiny in Christ. We will put our time, talent and resources into this world wide mission.

School of Ministry

Jesus commanded us to make disciples of all peoples and nations. We also recognize that the Lord desires that all believers are to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, doing the works that Jesus did, including preaching the kingdom of God, healing the sick, casting out demons, and making disciples. Jesus has given the church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to train and equip all believers to do these ministries. We call this “Doing the Stuff.” Our goal is to establish a School of Ministry designed to equip every believer who desires to “Do the Stuff.” This includes:

•   Biblical studies

•   School of the Spirit

•   Establishing DTS (“Doing the Stuff”) Teams such as prophetic teams, dream interpretation teams, healing teams, and helping hands ministry. 

•  Leadership training.  We believe that every Christian is called to

   be  a leader, whether in the family, the marketplace, or the

   Church.  Leaders are influencers

The Generations

Jesus is called the Eternal Father (Is 9:6). Not that He is the Father in the triune God. But rather that He has the eternal heart of the Father meaning that His desire is to reproduce others in His image and to see the succeeding generations do greater exploits than Himself. Jesus even said that those who believe in Him would do greater works (John 14:12). Our desire is to have this same Father heart to raise up generations that will seek to honor the previous generation by standing on their accomplishments and promote the next generation by lifting them onto our shoulders. We believe we are in the fulfillment of Malachi 4 where the Lord is turning the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.

•   Christian Day School to promote intimacy with the Lord, a love for the truth, a release of creativity, and leadership qualities.

•   Children’s Ministries to raise up a generation of young people who know their Lord and do great exploits for their King.

•   Youth Ministry. A generation of middle and high school youth that carry passion fo the glory of God and the fires of revival

•   University student ministry that will work towards revival and awakening on the campus that will cause students to embrace their kingdom destiny and carry the fire of revival around the world.
